SCRAPS Hope Foundation was founded in 2009 with the primary mission of supporting Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS).
We are a private 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to helping the animals in our community. We do not operate a shelter of our own, instead
we use our resources to assist SCRAPS animal shelter.
We use our resources to help SCRAPS in many ways. Here are just a few:
Provide emergency veterinary care for animals that might otherwise die.
Support the behavior program which offers free dog training classes to the public and behavior consultations.
Provide financing for the transport program which transports over 1700 animals a year from SCRAPS to other adoption guaranteed agencies, rescues and humane societies.
Provide additional staffing for direct animal care elevating their level of care.
Provide professional dog trainers to evaluate and assess the temperament of the adoptable pets.
